Tour Itinerary

DAY 01 : Arrive Cape Town
Today, embark on your exciting tour of South Africa. On arrival at Cape Town you will be greeted by a Travel A Deal local representative outside the baggage hall and transferred to your conveniently located hotel (Standard Check-in time is 1400hrs). On Arrival at the Hotel, you check-in and relax the evening. If you are upto exploring the city sights and surrounding areas you may venture our of the hotel and self explore the neighbourhood . Overnight in Cape Town.

DAY 02 : Cape Town ( City Tour & Table Mountain )
After breakfast at the hotel, we proceed to explore South Africa’s exciting ‘Mother City’ on this guided tour of the historical and cultural sights of Cape Town. You will step into the rich history of the city passing by key historical monuments and places of interest, such as the impressive Castle of Good Hope and Cape Town City Hall. The tour stops at the beautiful St. George’s Cathedral, passes the through the lush Company Gardens, and explores a cultural hub of Cape Town, the Bo-Kaap, also known as the Cape Malay quarter. A tour of this vibrant city, home to street markets of every kind, cosmopolitan and rustic eateries, and a host of cultures is an unforgettable experience. Later in the day guests will take a trip to the top of the world, high above the clouds on the famous Table Mountain. Table Mountain is an icon in Cape Town and is most likely the most photographed landmark in the country. Table Mountain has been named as on the seven wonders of nature and attracts millions over visitors from all across the globe, in fact, since the opening of the aerial cableway in 1929, more than 22 million people have taken the trip to the top. At the upper cable station, guests will find a restaurant and a curio shop as well as some footpaths for exploration.

DAY 03 : Cape Town ( Cape Peninsula Tour, Hout Bay Harbour, Sea Island Cruise, Chapman’s Peak, Cape of Good Hope & Boulders Beach )
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed on an exciting full-day tour to the Cape of Good Hope. We visit exciting destinations and indulge in some ocean activities.
Hout Bay Harbour
Step into the working harbour of Hout Bay at the end of Cape Town’s Atlantic seaboard for an authentic fishing village experience from the colourful fishing boats moored on the dock to the range of fish markets, restaurants, street markets and shops set overlooking the bay. Indulge in fresh seafood, fabulous views, adventure activities and shopping experiences – everything from jewellery and maritime artefacts to seashells and more. The beach stretches from here to Chapman’s Peak in the east.
Seal Island Cruise
Take to the ocean on the only glass bottomed passenger launch in South Africa. Circe Launches has been taking enthusiastic travellers to the Cape Fur Seal and Sea Bird Colony at Duiker Island in Hout Bay since 1972. View the kelp forests and abundant sea life from two glass viewing ports at the bottom of the boat. With ample outside deck seating, you can sit comfortably and observe the Cape Fur Seals in their natural environment, the vessel is usually within metres of this majestic and social animals.
Chapman’s Peak (weather permitting)
Locals call this famous scenic drive that winds its way between Hout Bay and Noordhoek on Cape Town’s stunning Atlantic Ocean coastline “Chappies”. The toll route stretches nine kilometres along the coast taking over 100 curves in a road carved out by prisoners of war in the mid-1910s over a seven-year period. On the one side are towering cliffs and on the other a steep drop to the ocean. A favourite with visitors and locals alike for scenic hikes, cycles and drives, as well as picnicking.
Cape Of Good Hope
The famous Cape of Good Hope nature reserve, a World Heritage site, is set at the end of Cape Town’s south peninsula. Take a trip via funicular to the lighthouse at 286 metres above sea level (built to which warns ships they are approaching the feared “Cape of Storms”), stroll along the cliff paths or venture down the steep slopes to the stunning white-sand beaches below. The reserve is home to a variety of small wildlife and is a favoured picnicking, fishing (with a permit) and hiking destination with its rich plant biodiversity and inspiring landscapes.
Cape Point Funicular
The Flying Dutchman Funicular takes passengers uphill from the car park of the Cape Point Nature Reserve (a Natural World Heritage Site) to the old lighthouse sited at 249m overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The views from the lighthouse are spectacular and the air, coming off the Antarctic, is among the purest in the world. The funicular is believed to be the only commercial one of its kind in Africa and is named after a local legend of a ghost ship. The short three-minute trip passes through 585m of dense fynbos and over rocks to the upper lighthouse. The two cars can carry 40 passengers at a time and trips run continuously.
Boulders Beach (Penguins)
The sheltered Simon’s Town beach of Boulders Beach is the home of an endangered land-based colony of African penguins (over 2 000 of them), as well as a favourite swimming and beach destination for locals and international travellers, particularly children. One can walk between the three pristine and sheltered beaches on boardwalks, which also link to the penguin-viewing area offering fantastic sightings of these unique and endearing animals in their natural habitat.

Later in the evening return to your hotel . Overnight in Cape Town

DAY 04 : Cape Town to Kysna ( Visit the Bartolomeu Dias Museum and Post Office Tree – National Heritage site. Enjoy Sunset Cruise )
After an breakfast checkout and start your journey to Knysna via Mosselbay. Mossel Bay is a harbour town where you visit the Bartolomeu Dias Museum complex which is the largest of the museums in Mossel Bay. Later visit Post Office Tree – A post box in the shape of an old boot has now been erected under the tree, and the tree declared a national heritage site. After enjoying a small break  & lunch continue your scenic journey to Knysna. On arrival at Knysna we shall experience a sunset cruise in these beautiful waters and see the sights of the land & the oceans. Later in the evening we shall check-in to our Hotel. Overnight in Kysna .

DAY 05 : Ksyna ( Visit Oudtshoorn – ‘The Feather Capital of the World’. Visit the Cango Caves, Ostrich Farm, Cheetah Ranch and Crocodile Enclosure )
After breakfast in your hotel, we will head to Oudtshoorn, which is set in a semi-arid valley. Drive through the Wine lands along the Breede River, Valley to Oudtshoorn – ‘The Feather Capital of the World’. Visit the famous Cango Caves, where the stalactite and stalagmite formations are an incredible sight. Later, proceed to the Ostrich Farm where you can enjoy a guided Tour of the farm. Enjoy Lunch. Thereafter, drive to ‘The Cango Wildlife Ranch’, where you can marvel at the grace and beauty of the world’s fastest animal. Visit Crocodile Enclosure. Then you drive back to George.  Overnight in Kysna

DAY 06 : Kysna  – Johannesburg – Sun City
After a packed breakfast,  we proceed to the airport to take our flight to Johannesburg. On Arrival in Johannesburg we are transferred to our vehicle for our journey to Man Made Wonder Of The World ‘ SUN CITY “. It is a city that knows no limits, a city that never sleeps! Upon reaching Sun City, you check-in to your resort . Relax the evening and party the night. Overnight in Sun City.

DAY 07 : Sun City ( Safari Game Drive At Pilanesberg )
After  Breakfast at the hotel, the rest of the day is free for you to relax and enjoy this wonderful city on your own at leisure. Discover the exquisite Pilanesberg National Park, located in an extinct volcanic crater. This game drive is a unique opportunity to experience the pristine flora and wildlife, spread over 55 000 hectares, offering some of the best game viewing in Southern Africa. This game drive is a gripping one, on which you come face to face with the unspoilt beauty of the bushveld. From an open vehicle you could encounter Africa’s Big Five and many other natural inhabitants at close range. Relax the evening. Overnight in Sun City.

DAY 08 : Sun City – Johannesburg ( City Orientation Tour & Lion Park Johannesburg )
After  Breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Johannesburg. Today we enjoy an orientation tour of this beautiful city, including, the Westcliff view, Nelson Mandela Bridge (photo opportunity, not crossing the bridge), Museum Africa (photo opportunity only), Mary Fitzgerald Square, Newtown sites and Constitution Hill (if open).  This landlocked city surrounded by golden mountains, is able to take you back to its humble beginnings as a mining settlement and its progress to becoming the 40th largest metropolitan area in the world. Travel our streets reliving the South African dream. Later enjoy a visit to The Lion Park which is an eco-tourism destination, breeding ground and sanctuary that focuses on the well-being and regeneration of the endangered Wild Dog, the rare White Lion and Cheetah. The focus of the park is to provide an opportunity for people, to learn more about these wonderful African animals. We have also included Cheetah Interaction (For passengers above 16 years of age only) and also Cub Interaction at the Lion Park. After a full days tour we check-in to our Hotel in Johannesburg . Overnight in Johannesburg.

DAY 09 : Depart Johannesburg
After breakfast . We check-out of our hotel for flight back home. Leaving with beautiful memories of this African Vacation. Have A Safe Journey Back.
