Day 01 : DELHI TO RISHIKESH ( 225 Km , 5 Hours )
After arrival at Delhi Airport or Railway Station, you will be met by a Travel A Deal , enjoy the scenic drive to Rishikesh – the world capital of Yoga. Situated in the foothills of the Himalayas, Rishikesh is where the sacred Ganga River comes down from the mountains. Despite the increasing number of tourists, the town has managed to retain its old charm and natural beauty. It is the starting point for the most significant pilgrimage circuit of Hindus – The Char Dham Yatra ( comprising Gangotri, Yamunotri, Badrinath and Kedarnath ). The serene environs of this town is perfect to meditate and learn several aspects of Hinduism. It earned western fame when the world famous Beatles band visited Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ashram. The town’s religious relevance complements well with a plethora of adventure activities that make it an ideal tourist destination. You will be directly taken to the Neelkanth Mahadev Temple, around 35 km from Rishikesh. Located at a height of 1330 meters, it is among the most revered Lord Shiva shrines in the country. As per Hindu mythology, this temple has been erected at the same place where Lord Shiva consumed the poison that emerged out of Smudramanthan as a result of which his throat turned blue, so the title Neelkanth. It was a process when Devas (Gods) and Asuras (Demons) churned the ocean in order to obtain Amrit (elixir). This whole legend is depicted at the temple gate and Shiva’s idol inside has a blue throat. Later in the day , visit Lakshman Jhula – a major landmark of Rishikesh. It offers picturesque views of the magnificent mountains and thick forests. Built in 1939, it is believed that Lakshman, brother of Lord Ram, crossed the Ganges on jute ropes, between the two banks on which the present-day bridge stands. In the evening we drive to the hotel, check-in and overnight in the hotel at Rishikesh.

After a good breakfast, we have a day to spend exploring this town and visiting some popular attractions. You may visit different temples and ashrams to learn about the religious history of this region and rejuvenate your mind and soul. Some of these places are Triveni Ghat and Bharat Mandir. While the former is a site of confluence of three holy rivers – the Ganges, Yamuna and Sarasvati, the latter is a 9th century temple built by philosopher Adi Shankaracharya. Shivpuri is the place for those, who wish to see the mesmerising vistas of nature. It is also famous for several adventure activities like rafting and camping. Apart from these, you can also experience the thrill of bungee jumping amidst white sand and lush green forest. After enjoying these adventure sports, come back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 03 : RISHIKESH TO MUSSOORIE ( 75 Km , 1.5 Hours )
Wake up to a beautiful and peaceful morning, have breakfast and check-out of your hotel. Today we proceed to Mussoorie , a spectacular hill station. Nestled in the foothills of the mesmeric Garhwal Himalayan ranges, Mussoorie is fondly known as the ‘Queen of the Hills’. It is perched on a horse-shoe shaped ridge at an average elevation of 1880 metres that commands scenic views of snow-covered Shivalik ranges. With a height of over 2290 metres, the highest point here is Lal Tibba. This hill resort is also home to rich biodiversity, which makes it a paradise for wildlife enthusiasts. After arriving in Mussoorie we check-in to our hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure or you may just venture out and explore the local markets. Overnight stay at your hotel in Mussoorie.

After breakfast we proceed for a sightseeing trip of Mussoorie to explore various attractions. The mesmeric beauty of this town accompanied with amazing weather easily lightens the mood. You can spend leisure time at the enchanting Kempty Falls, admiring the bounties of nature. Surrounded by lush flora and soaring mountains, these falls have unrivalled beauty. You can swim in the cold water for relaxing your senses or simply spend few moments of repose in its tranquil environs. Afterwards, you may proceed to the landmark Mall Road. Here, you will get to see the British era buildings. You can browse the various shops lined on the road to purchase keepsakes for your loved ones. After this interesting day, retreat to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 05 : MUSSOORIE TO DELHI   ( 290 Km / 7 Hours )
After breakfast, we leave this exceptionally beautiful hill station and depart for New Delhi. You would be dropped to the New Delhi Airport or Railway Station. We hope you are carrying with you fond memories of this holiday.
